Rant.... Rave....

Journal Entry: Fri Jun 8, 2007, 12:02 PM
I don't know what I have done to my computer, but I got like 8 Trojan viruses on my computer today. Oh man I freaked and the thing is I wasn't even on the computer when it happened. This is getting to be too much for me and my poor computer. I ran a program called pc tools spy doctor and it said I had some sort of Trojan.Dropper.Agent, and what it does is... Trojan. Dropper. Agent. AMR installs a copy of itself in the window directory and opens random port numbers to download additional malicious components without the users knowledge. So it infected my computer with like 8 Trojans. Hmmm............ People who have that much time, and smarts to do horrible things like create these viruses, if they just put half of that energy into something good, they could come up with the cure for the common cold. Or cancer. Or, or AIDs....

But I think that the SpyDoctor got rid of my pesky pop up problem. I tell you, I am scared to even surf the net now. I have firewalls, I have spy wear programs, I have virus blockers and all of that techy stuff. But something always slips through. I mean my computer is not top of the line, $2000 piece of equipment. It is just a cheap Best Buy e-machines, not even a Pentium (well it is an AthalonXP). It is the first new, computer I ever bought for myself. And I can't afford to go out and buy a new one. Damn I am wrong, a pop up thingy just came up as I was typing this journal….. Crap…..

Okay enough of the Rant..... Now for the Rave....

My son graduated from Kindergarten today. :w00t: :boogie: :w00t: I tell you the things that they had him doing in kindergarten I didn't do until I got into 1st and 2nd grade. He came home with 3 or 4 pages of homework a night and a book to read every night. But he passed with flying colors. His teacher told me today that he was the hardest working kid in the class. Oh, I am so happy he passed. We are going to party this weekend. :D :D We are going to pull out the animes (my son loves animes, Hmmm... I wonder where he gets that from?), fire up the grill, make some virgin strawberry slushy things, pop some pop corn, turn up the surround sound, make some ice-cream sundaes, and party like there is no tomorrow. (And I bet ya we will all be in bed by 9:00pm.) :giggle:

:iconseiyausagifanclub: Feel free to come by and visit my club.

:iconseiyastock: I was looking through my photos and decided to put some up on dA as stock. I dont know if they will be useful, but you never know. I am always adding new stuff there. Go check it out.

Oh, I know... Actually it was really bad spywear. And I think I finally got rid of it, but what was so bad is that I picked it up, and kept picking it up, on a page that I went to often.

I told him, and he said thank you. :D I was looking over the stuff he is doing next year, and I am floored at what they are doing. This is stuff we did not do until about 3rd or 4th grade.

Tell him I said "You're welcome."

And there's no way the grades are going to change. In a few years from now, they're going to be teaching young elementery students algebra!
